| 2006-02-27: OTRS goes ITIL |
| More than 20,000 installations worldwide prove every day
the smooth operability of OTRS in heterogeneous IT
environments. Many companies, especially IT service
management companies, value official certifications,
possibly the most important being ITIL. Thus, OTRS is now
starting an initiative to reach ITIL certification. The
first steps of certification should be taken summer 2006.
According to our research, OTRS would actually be the
first open source project with an ITIL certification.
