2009-07-10: OTRS 2.4.0 beta5 (Aitutaki Beach) is released!

The OTRS Team is pleased to announce the release of OTRS 2.4.0 beta5.
Changes:

  • Enhancement - Added support for English - US, UK and Canadian (date and time format)!
  • Enhancement - Updated French translation, thanks to Olivier Sallou!
  • Enhancement - Updated Persian translation, thanks to Afshar Mohebbi!
  • Enhancement - Updated Polish translation, thanks to Artur Skalski!
  • Enhancement - Updated Italian translation - thanks to Remo Catelotti!
  • Enhancement - Added CSV/HTML export for Admin-SQL-Box feature (until now only HTML was supported). Thanks to Daniel Obee!
  • Bug# 3936 - Within the Bulk-Action feature, the option "select all" was not working if only one ticket was shown in the overview/ticket list.
  • Bug# 3796 - The option to configure external customer database Source failed, e. g. for external customer users (Error message was: Got no EncodeObject! at Kernel/System/DB.pm line 96.").
  • Bug# 3956 - New OpenSearch feature for fulltext search was not Working. Instead of showing the matches according to a search string, the system showed all tickets.
  • Bug# 3938 - GenericAgent was unable to send escalation emails to agents (Error message was: Got no EncodeObject).
  • Bug# 3934 - After a new installation and creating an ticket based on an incoming email, an error message got logged without any effect (removed wrong log message).
  • Bug# 3946 - Incomplete substitution of tag in templates for auto responses, std responses, signatures and salutations.
